If the word Bingo reminds you of gray-haired ladies hunched over numbered cards in a senior center, you’re in for a real surprise. Gone are the old paper cards with little wooden discs to cover the called numbers. And gone is the little wire cage you crank with tumbling balls inside. Believe it or not, Bingo has now gone high tech with one particular venue standing out from the crowd. Triple Crown Bingo (TCB) is a preferred favorite among families and die-hard game players. Home to the ultimate Bingo experience, TCB is shaking up the scene featuring electronic games, huge flat-screen TV projectors, and a high-energy atmosphere where families and adults of all ages enjoy hours of exciting entertainment.
Bill Woods is owner of both Triple Crown Bingo hall locations in Cypress, Texas and has been keeping his customers happy for more than eight years. Originally located on Louetta Road in Spring, Texas, TCB re- established its location in 2017 at a larger high-tech facility in Cypress at 10535 Jones Road. “Children ages seven and up and adults of all ages can enjoy our clean, family-friendly environment,” Bill says. The expansive new facility is open five nights a week and offers thrilling entertainment, delicious food, and beverages at the Grand Prize Grill, and multiple opportunities for hefty cash-winning payouts.
Beginning in November, TCB will collaborate with VFW Post 8905 in Cypress to bring Bingo back to their hall that was originally established years ago. With top-of-the-line technical equipment revamping the game, players are sure to crowd the grand opening of Triple Crown Bingo at VFW 290 on November 2ndthis month. This venue offers daytime games beginning at 12:00 PM with the same excitement and fun as the night gaming location. Big cash payouts and the ever-popular pull tab cards make the reinvigorated VFW post a gamer’s delight.
Playing the Game and Winning Big
For as little as $12, players can get 12 paper cards and an inked dobber for traditional play or pay just $20 for 66 electronic bingo machine cards with randomly-generated wins. Throughout the evening, optional pull tabs (pop-open cards similar to scratch-off lottery tickets) offer an additional opportunity for winning unlimited cash, adding thrilling possibilities of taking home up to and in excess of $5,000 in cash. At Triple Crown, there are no wimpy payouts or third-rate prize giveaways. Bill says everything is done first class all the way, with $5,000 cash payouts every gaming night of the week. Players agree, routinely driving from all over the Houston area to play at TCB in Cypress. “Customers love our friendly atmosphere and unmatched service. It is our team’s goal to provide the best, most enjoyable entertainment venue in the area,” says Bill.
Eat, Drink, and Be Merry
TCB attracts a wide age variety, trending toward more couples and younger age groups. If your spouse or significant other isn’t into Bingo but loves sports, you’re in luck. They can watch their favorite sports games on any of the four gigantic flat-screen projectors while you enjoy your Bingo games. With the addition of innovative electronics, it’s even possible to play simultaneous Bingo games while watching sports or enjoying a delicious meal. Grand Prize Grill is located inside TCB’s facility. Known for their mouth-watering burgers, dinner specials are available for purchase every game night, with Sundays featuring a traditional home-style meal. The grill also serves beer, wine, and select sodas to wash down their satisfying dinners.
Although smoking is not allowed in the main hall, there is a designated smoking lounge sealed off from the main area, still close to the action. The lounge’s separate, hospital-grade air filtration system ensures smoke is kept out of the main Bingo hall and contained within the lounge itself. Main hall players have peace of mind knowing their families are safely separated from the effects of second-hand smoke and its lingering smell.
Ensuring Your Health and Safety
Triple Crown Bingo has made every effort possible to employ safety enhancements to protect not only their game-playing customers, but their staff as well. “We have an incredible hospital-grade air filtration system as well as a specialized ultraviolet lighting filtration system that helps to degrade harmful bacteria which may be present in the air,” Bill explains. TCB’s new, larger facility allows more room for spaced-out seating to follow social distancing guidelines. Masks are required to be worn by everyone inside the building at all times, except when dining and drinking at tables. Rest assured, these additional health and safety measures don’t dampen the excitement of inking that last number on your Bingo card for the win.
Always looking for ways to entertain players, TCB plans special events throughout the year to celebrate the holidays. The month of October features spooky festivities and Black Light Bingo for Halloween. It’s lights out while gamers enjoy the glow under black lights. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Black Friday gift giveaways, and extra special Christmas giveaways in November and December are celebrated and enjoyed.
Charitable Bingo Gives Back in a Big Way
Playing at TCB allows you to have fun while supporting important charities. Charitable Bingo is one of three forms of legalized gambling in the state of Texas and has enabled Bingo halls to donate more than $1 billion to charities nationwide. The charitable act of giving back provides an opportunity for your Bingo game cost to make a difference in others’ lives. Donations to worthy organizations, including the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, VFW, and the American Legion are made possible with every game you play.
For more information, including game times and schedules for either hall’s location, visit TCB’s website. Bill and his accommodating staff look forward to meeting you.
