Dr. Radhika Vayani takes a friendly, personalized approach to patient care. With many of her patients, she focuses on maintaining a healthy weight and overall lifestyle to ward off obesity, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and other complex diseases.
“People have a choice of how they live their lives and it can really affect their health,” Dr. Vayani said. “I am seeing weight-related health problems in increasingly younger patients. People of all ages are struggling. Many of these problems could be prevented if we could all be healthier from day one.”
Dr. Vayani sees patients who are 16 years of age and older. She believes in preventative medicine and is focused on the overall health of her patients. She advises people to see their primary care doctors for annual wellness exams.
“I hear many cases of patients with advanced diseases that could have prevented or controlled early if they had regular check-ups,” she said. “These are people who have not been to the doctor or had an annual exam in years. Medicine has advanced, but it is still much safer to treat diseases earlier and prevent complications or surgeries.”
Dr. Vayani started Be Well Primary Care as a place for comprehensive healthcare. While practicing locally, Dr. Vayani has built a network of fellow specialist physicians who share mutual values and can assist any of her patients who need extended care.
As her practice grows, Dr. Vayani plans to extend the services offered at Be Well Primary Care. For example, she now offers an Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol for patients who have more than 30 or 40 pounds to lose. Dr. Vayani believes in the program so much that she has encouraged some of her own family members and friends to try it with transformative results.
“While making small changes in patient lives, my best days are when I receive cards or reviews from patients who are thankful for the care I am providing them,” Dr. Vayani said. “It’s always an honor to know that I have been part of someone’s positive transformation. I have patients who have been able to lose weight, turn around their diabetes diagnosis, or get off medication. To be able to make a difference for people is the biggest reward.”
