Wade Williams, D.D.S., M.S., was an adult in the middle of dental school when he was first fitted with braces. Often thought to be something for the young, braces are becoming increasingly sought after by adults as well. The fact that Dr. Williams experienced everything that comes with having braces at a later stage in life has made him a more effective orthodontist today. “I had braces in adulthood and it changed my life,” he said. “I got the smile I always wanted and I developed a desire to do that for others.”

And he has. Since taking over for Ron Rogers, D.D.S., at The Woodlands Dental Group in 2008, Dr. Williams has continued the tradition of excellent care in creating beautiful smiles that Dr. Rogers fostered for more than 30 years. Dr. Williams is passionate about creating beautiful smiles, stating that the artistry involved is one of the greatest loves of his job. That, and the ability to help everyone from children to adults smile like they mean it.

SPECIALTIES:

  • Pediatric and adolescent orthodontics
  • Adult orthodontics
  • Invisalign, including Invisalign Teen
  • Complimentary growth and development program for children (Wiggly Tooth Club)
  • 3-D scanning technology, no messy impressions

But it’s more than just achieving a perfect smile for Dr. Williams. “I want patients to know that I have a sincere desire for their well-being beyond the details of moving teeth,” he said. Because of that, he spends ample time with each patient in order to understand them and their needs and provides a full explanation of any and all proposed treatments. Being able to boost a patient’s confidence and self-esteem is just icing on the cake.

Kimberly T. had this to say about her experience with Wade Williams Orthodontics: “Dr. Williams is great at his job. My children’s smiles are beautiful because of his excellent care. He does not suggest treatments unless they are truly needed. Great office and great care.”

Another satisfied patient named Justin K. said, “Dr. Williams and his excellent staff took care of us from start to finish. Explaining the process, treatment and how our insurance would handle the claim and our responsibility. There was no question left unanswered by the time we left the office. They are a great team and I wouldn’t send my kids to any other orthodontist.”

Dr. Williams completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Loma Linda University, a well-respected private university located in Southern California, where he graduated at the top of his class. He then was accepted into the much-coveted orthodontic residency program at Loma Linda University and earned his Master of Science degree and Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics. Always striving to be the best, he garnered the Roland Walter award at the end of his residency, which recognized him as the top resident in his class.

With a plethora of orthodontic practices available in the Houston area, Dr. Williams continues to take great pride in being the best. Not only does he implement the best practices and the best cutting-edge products and technology available (e.g. 3-D scanners that eliminate the need for messy and highly uncomfortable impressions), but he has won the Reader’s Choice Best Orthodontist award through LIVING magazine two years in a row. Plus, his dental group, The Woodlands Dental Group, has won the prestigious Best of The Woodlands award for three consecutive years!
