Making a decision to address your urological care is not always easy. Whether you are facing a cancer diagnosis or have other pressing urological needs, it is important to choose not only a trusted physician group with the most state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, but also that you choose a highly trained physician who is right for you. That’s why choosing the most qualified and compassionate urologist is such a critical decision.
Gregory C. Lieser, MD
Gregory C. Lieser, MD, graduated from Texas A&M University summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He received his Doctor of Medicine with honors from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While there, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Dr. Lieser completed his urology training at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic in 2015, where he served as chief resident. There he learned the latest state-of-the-art techniques in urologic care including minimally invasive and reconstructive surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System.
“I perform advanced laparoscopic surgery and have been trained in the latest urologic techniques, including the da Vinci surgical system,” said Dr. Lieser. “Primarily, I work with male patients and take physician referrals and patient-driven concerns, specifically erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, enlarged prostate, and urinary incontinence. About 25 percent of my patients are women and I’m also skilled with different urological cancers.”
Dr. Lieser provides minimally invasive and state-of-the-art surgical techniques to expedite his patients’ road to recovery. The da Vinci Surgical System gives patients smaller incisions, which may reduce post-operative pain, reduced scarring, and improve recovery time. In addition, the da Vinci Surgical System is fully controlled by the physician for optimal results. Besides general urology, Dr. Lieser has clinical interests in urological oncology, reconstructive urology, kidney stone disease, erectile dysfunction, male health, and voiding dysfunction. Dr. Lieser is available on most insurance plans and is accepting new patients.
Dr. Lieser was raised in Arlington, Texas. He and his wife, Sofia, have a daughter, Ana. Sofia is an OB-GYN practicing in the Grapevine area. When he is not spending time with his family or practicing urology, he enjoys running, fishing, and reading.
