Altitude Aerial Arts & Fitness

BY ALLISON MYERS

Tricia Lauerman discovered her passion for pole & aerial arts after searching for an alternative to traditional, mainstream fitness. In 2013, Tricia opened Altitude Pole Fitness and Aerial Arts in what used to be a 600 square foot storage closet in historic downtown Frisco. Her unique fitness offering grew quickly. She met the demand by increasing classes, adding instructors, and expanding the business to provide aerial silks, sling & Lyra hoop. After two years, she got the opportunity to custom build a new space and in December of 2017 the 2,400 square foot, custom OSHA certified studio was complete.

Tricia’s passion has always been about cultivating a space where people find and finetune their strength, positivity, and confidence. She believes that making aerial arts accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level, is paramount to her success.Through a thoughtfully curated and progressive curriculum designed for brand new beginners of all ages, Altitude insures each student will feel successful by the end of every class. Tricia believes that the most rewarding part of coaching is the client’s excitement when they realize that they are stronger and more capable than they could have imagined.

Altitude has become an industry leader in pole and aerial fitness. It currently offers over 65 classes, 7 days a week, for adults, kids, and teens, from beginner level to advanced. Altitude’s Bachelorette, Girls Night and aerial parties are yet another exciting way to experience the magic and fun of circus-inspired fitness. Tricia looks forward to continued growth and filling the needs of the communities surrounding it.
