Dr. Bryan Correa’s Full-Service Private Practice Has a New Name
Creativity comes naturally for Dr. Bryan Correa, who many consider one of Houston’s most gifted and thoughtful board-certified plastic surgeons. So, when he decided to rename his private practice, it was for a reason.
“Changing the practice name is emblematic of our vision,” says Dr. Correa. “Our new name, The Woodlands Plastic Surgery and Medspa, reflects our goal to provide this wonderful community with a full suite of services.”
Dr. Correa and his team offer the complete package. This includes medspa services such as skin care, injectables, and nonsurgical rejuvenation; cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body, such as facelift and mommy makeovers, including cellulite reduction; and reconstructive surgery such as breast reconstruction and skin cancer removal. Dr. Correa and his team do it all while taking your best interest to heart.
Dr. Correa has the brilliant mind, open heart, sound judgement, and skills necessary to help his patients achieve a desirable, predictable outcome. He describes his style as a “meet-in-the-middle, collaborative approach.” Through patient education and open discussion, Dr. Correa’s patients know what to expect from start to finish.
“Patients trust me to provide an honest assessment and honest answers. Some tell me, ‘Do whatever you want—I trust your judgement completely,’ while others come to their consult convinced of a specific treatment,” he explains. “I take a step back, listen to their goals and concerns, ask and answer questions, then recommend options designed to best meet their needs.”
Visualize Your Results Before Surgery
Using sophisticated computer-simulated imaging technology, Dr. Correa can show patients what their results may look like before they undergo surgery. “This is helpful for many procedures, including rhinoplasty and chin augmentation,” he explains. “With nose surgery, it’s not just about the shape of the nose—I look at the balance and projection of the chin and nose together to create a pleasing and natural-looking result.”
“I love helping people and playing a role in making their life better, whether it’s through surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic enhancements or reconstructive plastic surgery,” Dr. Correa shares. “It’s gratifying to help my patients make a positive change that can improve their self-confidence and quality of life.”
Helping Women Feel Comfortable With Their Bodies
One of the things Dr. Correa cares most about is helping women feel good about the appearance of their body after childbirth. One of his most sought-after services is the mommy makeover, which is a customized combination of procedures, including breast augmentation with or without lift, tummy tuck, liposuction, labiaplasty, and more.
For Dr. Correa, breast reconstruction after breast cancer is not just a procedure, but a passion. “Women have options today. We’ll discuss reconstruction with implants or their own tissue—the ‘DIEP flap.’ This natural breast reconstruction procedure uses skin and tissue from the lower abdomen to recreate the breast. Patients also like the tummy tuck-like effect it can create.”
Dr. Correa further explains that women who undergo lumpectomy are often candidates for an “oncoplastic reconstruction” which often utilizes breast lift or reduction techniques. This is often a nice “silver lining” to the breast cancer journey.
“We offer a boutique experience for our patients, and I couldn’t do this without having a remarkable team,” Dr. Correa says. “I’ve been extremely selective when choosing our team members and am incredibly thankful to have them. We take care of each other which translates into better care for our patients. There’s great synergism among us.”
Artist, Musician, Board-certified Plastic Surgeon
A modern day Renaissance man deep down, Dr. Correa, whose favorite composer is Chopin, is a pianist who studied classical piano in college. His most recent hobby is sculpture.
“I was inspired by my wife’s beauty and form during pregnancy, and began clay sculpture lessons,” Dr. Correa shares. “The process was fun and energizing. What you can do feels limitless. Sculpture is a creative outlet that helps me explore form and structure in a way that surgery doesn’t. I absolutely love it!”
Dr. Correa and his wife, an anesthesiologist, live in The Woodlands with their children, two-and-a-half year-old Olivia, and one-and-a-half year-old Logan. Active in the community, Dr. Correa contributes goods and services to local charities and silent auctions.
After earning a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Dr. Correa completed his medical degree at UCLA and plastic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

“I met Dr. Correa for a consultation and knew he was going to be my guy! He is very personable, funny, knowledgeable, and professional. His staff is very sweet and friendly—I always felt welcomed. When Dr. Correa did my surgery, he called me that night to make sure I was okay. He also checked on me a couple of times before my follow up appointments. He is very caring for his patients and he listened to my concerns. I am very happy with my results and I would highly recommend my family and friends to him. His office is very clean, wait time is very minimal, and I absolutely love him! Thank you, Dr. Correa, for everything!” – L. L.
“I’m a visual person and plastic surgery is a very visual field, which is one of the reasons I chose it,” Dr. Correa explains. “With each patient, I look at four dimensions—the fourth being time—when determining treatment plans. The outcome should look good today as well as over time with age.”
