Offering a “boutique” experience for his patients, Dr. Correa combines his personalized approach to patient care with his love of helping others and his pas- sion for science, medicine, and art. A sculptor and a “visual person” at heart, he translates his keen sense of beauty, form, and aesthetics to create results so natural looking you might think they are the handiwork of Mother Nature herself.
Positively touching his patients’ lives is deeply satisfying for Dr. Correa, a board-certified plastic surgeon known for his personable nature. “One of the best feelings in the world is knowing I’ve helped someone feel happier and more self-confident,” says Dr. Correa, who lives in The Woodlands with his wife, an anesthesiologist, and their two young children.
Open, Honest, Collaborative
Overarching everything Dr. Correa does is his penchant for honesty. He wants every patient to have realistic expectations and to be happy with their results.
“I listen to what my patients are looking for then let them know what can and can- not be done, even if they don’t like hearing it. My goal is to do the right thing for every patient,” he says, “and to build an honest, open relationship with them.”
As a sculptor, it’s no surprise Dr. Correa loves body contouring. From custom Mom- my Makeovers to breast enhancement and body sculpting, his work is exquisite.
The Mommy Makeover is one of Dr. Correa’s most sought after services. Child- birth is a joyous event, but it can leave women with droopy breasts, stretched out abdominal muscles and skin, and diet and exercise-resistant fat. Dr. Correa takes a highly customized approach to each Mommy Makeover. He uses a combination of procedures that may include breast augmentation with or with- out a lift, tummy tuck, liposuction, labiaplasty, and more.
“I start by listening to what stands out most to the patient and what looks they are going for. Understanding a patient’s desires and goals is a starting point to discuss what can be accomplished,” Dr. Correa explains.
Next, Dr. Correa evaluates the patient anatomically to determine what’s realistic and, in the patient’s, best interest. “We’ll review photos of patients similar in structure who have likely similar results and talk openly about options.”
Bye-Bye Unsightly Cellulite
Another popular service at The Wood- lands Plastic Surgery is Cellfina, an FDA-cleared, minimally invasive, one- time, in-office procedure that tackles unwanted cellulite. “Cellfina addresses the root cause of cellulite by releasing the connective bands that create puck- ering on the surface of the skin,” Dr. Correa explains. Results typically last three years or more, and recovery only takes a couple of days.
