Health and wellness for yourself and your family is on everyone’s mind these days and is even more important considering our present circumstances. If feeling better and striving to be healthier has been on your to-do list, a personalized and affordable wellness program at The Joint Chiropractic might be just the ticket. Quality treatment, easy check-in, and short wait times are hallmarks of The Joint’s patient-centric focus. Their clinics offer convenience, affordability, and availability without additional costly therapies. Increased mobility and improved physical and emotional health and well-being is attainable and within reach at any of The Joint’s Cy-Fair area locations. With a team of skilled chiropractors led by experienced Director, Dr. Jason Basile, there’s no reason to put off those health goals any longer.
Ready to Serve Cy-Fair, Meet The Joint’s Board-certified, Licensed Chiropractors
Jason Basile, DC, graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in exercise science and earned his chiropractic degree from Life University in Georgia. He practiced for 16 years in the private sector before becoming director of 8 of The Joint’s Houston area locations. “Adjustment modality allows patients to thrive, not just survive. It is the most important service we could ever offer or perform,” Dr. Basile explains. “Our format allows patients to be in and out in five minutes for an initial core adjustment.”
Briana Hyde, DC, is a Houston area native and clinical director of The Joint in Cypress, Texas. She discovered chiropractic was her calling after meeting a chiropractor who was able to provide much needed help to her mother, who had a long history of health issues. “He was the first person to ever ask my mom about diet and exercise and talk about what the body needs to increase mobility and decrease pain without prescription medications.” Dr. Hyde earned her Doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College in 2018 and began working at The Joint after graduation. “I love seeing patients walk out happy and upright after they’ve been in pain for so long,” she says. “I enjoy educating people on how their body works and what it needs to perform at its best.” Dr. Hyde enjoys Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, yoga, reading, and the outdoors. Her dog Fitz and her hedgehog Harley round out the family.
William Riepe, DC, began his schooling at The College of New Jersey, where he studied exercise science and Spanish. “Learning to speak Spanish fluently has given me the chance to help a lot more people than I could have otherwise,” he says. He continued his schooling at Texas Chiropractic College, where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Riepe lives an active life and enjoys being able to help others do the same. “Combine a healthy lifestyle with chiropractic to strive for a better life,” he says. Dr. Riepe enjoys running, hunting and fishing, and seeks to use his chiropractic skills to enable others to pursue their interests.
Patrick Livingood, DC, received his Bachelor of Science in human biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. He received an English Bible Certificate from Wheaton College, studied German literature at University of Vienna, Austria, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in social services with a minor in American Indian studies from Moorhead State. “I love recommending our wellness program to our patients. Those who join the program and receive a weekly adjustment are able to maintain a higher degree of activity. They also enjoy an increase in their quality of life. Many of the patients report back to me with gratitude for recommending the program,” he says. He and wife Denise have three children, three grandchildren, and three cats.
Safety in an Ever-changing Environment
Director Dr. Jason Basile shares this important message. “As we continue to respond to the changing environment around COVID-19, the safety of our patients, staff, and doctors is our highest priority. We understand that new information surrounding the changing landscape of our everyday routines has many feeling concerned. Personal healthcare is our business, and we’re always cognizant of being adaptable during these times. We know many will continue to have healthcare needs that can be helped through chiropractic care, and we feel a responsibility and commitment to our patients.”
Navigating the Road Ahead
As a precaution, The Joint is currently following clinic procedures outlined by healthcare organizations and leading authorities within the chiropractic profession. They have increased hygiene and clinic surface-cleaning routines, revised seating and adjusted tables to create space between patients, required masks for clinic staff, and implemented monitoring and operations protocols.
The Joint is relying on guidance from national and local chiropractic associations and healthcare organizations to direct their actions. They are closely monitoring recommendations and protocols established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local health departments, pledging to communicate if their position needs modification as COVID-19 circumstances develop.
Chiropractic works to restore and maintain proper communication from your brain to your body by relieving misalignment of the spine. Restoring proper alignment can assist with pain relief, healing, and prevention. Many, including the International Chiropractors Association, view chiropractic as an essential healthcare service that can be used by patients with a wide array of health conditions. As a result, when and where possible, The Joint Chiropractic clinics are open and remain committed to providing convenient and affordable chiropractic care in their local communities.
