Some of those protocols look like this. Qualified buyers complete a form asserting they don’t have a fever, haven’t tested positive for COVID-19, and haven’t been exposed to anyone who’s tested positive. Armed with that assurance, a seller can decide whether to move forward with a showing. At the showing, the number of people allowed into the home is limited, and everyone’s asked to wear masks and gloves (or use hand sanitizer).
Lights are left on in the home, and cabinet doors are kept open to minimize surface touching. Dee and her team also offer virtual Zoom appointments, open houses, and home tours. “Every client and buyer is different,” Dee said. “We follow all CDC guidelines, but we also look for the client’s comfort zone.” Amid these challenges, The Dee Evans Group still finished 2020 with over 93 million in sales and 223-plus transactions—their most successful year to date.
