Dr. Samantha Robare knew she wanted to be a physician when she was a Cypress Creek High School student. The native Texan discovered her passion for dermatology while earning her medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California.
“I love dermatology because it’s so diverse, and I see patients of all ages throughout their lifetime,” says Dr. Robare, a board-certified dermatologist. From rashes and excising skin cancer to injectables for skin and hair rejuvenation, she offers an impressive breadth and depth of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic services.
One of the things Dr. Robare enjoys most is helping her patients attain clearer, healthy skin, especially those suffering from acne or psoriasis. “It’s rewarding to help make a difference in my patients’ lives so they can live more comfortably and feel more secure about their skin’s appearance,” she shares.
Dr. Robare’s patients appreciate and benefit from her patient-centered approach. She spends time getting to know every patient, actively listens, and works with them as a partner, building trust and empowering them to protect and care for their skin. “I educate patients and provide options, so they can make an informed decision,” she says.
Patients describe Dr. Robare as caring, professional, encouraging, and friendly. They praise her skill and expertise, and commitment to getting to the root cause of a skin problem.
Angela was at her wits’ end searching for answers about her condition until she saw Dr. Robare. “Over a year after trying to find out what was wrong with me and seeing doctors in multiple fields, I was finally blessed to see Dr. Robare,” Angela says. “She took her time, asked me many questions, and ordered blood work that no doctor had done before. That blood work has provided more information about my condition than anything anyone has done in over a year. I finally feel like I’m on the right path, and it was all due to her investigative work and unwillingness to brush me off and assume what I was going through was ‘skin deep.’ I am extremely grateful for her help and her knowledge of so much more than just skin. She literally saved my life.”
Bayou City Dermatology provides cosmetic services ranging from nonsurgical body contouring and chemical peels to laser skin treatments and more. Dr. Robare does her own injectable treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections designed to rejuvenate the skin and stimulate hair growth.
