Rowlett Dental Associates is a Rowlett tradition. Established in 1980 by Dr. Brad Daniels, they have served four generations of Rowlett families with preventative, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry combining the latest in dental technology with friendly, down-home care. Drs. Keane Fedosky, Jonathan Almy, and Tera Pollock understand that optimum oral health is more than just teeth: it’s about families.
If you’ve ever been rushed through a visit in a corporate-owned dental office and felt like just a number on a chart, you will be surprised with the time the doctors and staff at Rowlett Dental Associates devote to their patients. They carefully consider each individual patient’s medical history, long-term dental goals, and lifestyle, then partner with them to craft a treatment plan focused on a smile that not only looks great but is completely functional for a lifetime.
“We understand that quality dentistry and personalized service go hand in hand,” Dr. Fedosky said. “Many of our patients come to us with anxiety from past experiences. The last thing they need is to feel rushed. They need a dentist who will take time to answer their questions and listen to their concerns. Dental phobia is real, but it doesn’t have to be permanent. Our goal for any anxious patient is for them to leave an appointment with us realizing they don’t have to fear the dentist’s chair. A tremendous bonus for a completely stress-free experience is that we offer safe, effective in-office sedation dentistry.”
All Under One Roof
Rowlett Dental Associates is the ultimate family dental practice. It offers comprehensive checkups and cleanings, basic and complex restorations, wisdom teeth extraction, dental implants, root canal treatment, custom athletic mouth guards, all-ceramic restorations, and more under one roof. “We know our patients, and they know us,” Dr. Almy said. “Once they are comfortable here, we have the capability to take care of their dental needs. Nothing makes us feel better than knowing our patients trust us to bring their entire family here. We love watching a child grow up in our practice then seeing them coming back with their own children.”
Rowlett Dental Associates advocates conservative, long-lasting dental solutions. “Our goal is always to preserve as much of the natural tooth as possible,” Dr. Almy said. “We’re big on patient education. It’s our job to teach our patients enough about caring for their teeth and gums so that they can take optimum oral health into their own hands, especially now, when so many diseases elsewhere in the body are being linked to poor oral health.”
Dentistry just got a whole lot more kid-friendly as Dr. Tera Pollock recently combined her Rowlett Dental Kids with Rowlett Dental Associates. Her natural rapport and 23 years of experience exclusively in children’s dental care puts the youngest patients at ease. “Before I begin a procedure in a child’s mouth, it’s important for me to develop a relationship and earn their trust,” she said. “Even when a child is just in for a routine check-up, we block out 45 minutes to an hour, so we never have to be rushed or impatient. Only when the child and I are comfortable with each other can I put their mind at ease, and that takes time.”
“We’ve also installed little extras that make a big difference for kids, things like TVs on the ceiling they can watch while undergoing a procedure and noise-cancelling headphones to block out the unfamiliar noises in the office,” Dr. Pollock said. “For really nervous patients, I offer both nitrous oxide and in-office oral sedation, a liquid medication that helps anxious children relax. Even when a child must be given an injection, we do it in such a way that they never realize they got it.” Dr. Pollock also welcomes parents in the room during all visits.
New Smile New You
A beautiful smile can dramatically improve your self-image. With white, straight, shapely teeth, you can look younger and experience newfound confidence and enthusiasm. The doctors at Rowlett Dental Associates have the experience, training, and eye for detail to give you the smile of your dreams. Many cosmetic procedures can be completed in one to two office visits.
During your personal consultation, your dentist will examine your teeth, discuss your expectations, and talk about the changes you want to make—everything from simple tooth whitening to a complete smile makeover. “The goal is to achieve eye-catching results that look natural and healthy,” Dr. Fedosky said. “We can do as little or as much as you are ready to do.”
Snoring and Sleep Apnea Therapy
Snoring is often a symptom of a potentially serious condition called sleep apnea. “Sleep apnea disrupts your nighttime rest, makes you sleepy during the day, boosts blood pressure, and raises your risk for other health issues like high blood pressure and diabetes,” Dr. Fedosky said. “If you snore or live with someone who does, we encourage you to contact our office to discuss non-invasive oral appliance therapy to eliminate snoring and decrease sleep apnea.”
Rowlett Dental Associates believes in giving back to the community that has given them so much. They are longtime members of the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce, who has recognized them as “Business of the Year” multiple times since 1980. They support many local non-profits, and for the last 20 years, they have presented a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving high school senior. Rowlett Dental Associates truly has become the ultimate family dental practice that has the expertise to treat every member of your family. Call (972) 475-0301 to find out more.
