Rockwall Robotics visit DC

 

Rockwall High School students from FRC Team 1296, the Full Metal Jackets robotics team, recently traveled to Washington D.C. to advocate for STEM funding at the FIRST National Advocacy Conference on Capitol Hill. This group of students visited many famous sites, listened to talks from multiple speakers, and met personally with Sentator Ted Cruz, Representative John Ratcliffe, and Senior Staff of Senator John Cornyn. Over 65 teams from 22 states were in attendance.
