Physicians at Pecan Tree Pediatrics are on a mission to make sure their patients, and the patients’ parents, are completely satisfied with their care.

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Lynne Beach graduated from Texas A&M and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She enjoys attending her children’s events, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and scrapbooking.
Dr. Grace Pecson graduated from UT and Texas A&M Health Sciences Center College of Medicine. She served as Pediatric Chairman at Lake Pointe Medical Center and is a member of the School Health Advisory Committee. Dr. Pecson and her husband have three children. She enjoys relaxing at home, good food and good company, and time with family.
Dr. Nadine Wakim graduated from Indiana University and Indiana University School of Medicine. She lives in Farmer’s Branch and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, learning about new cultures and places, cooking, running, and being outdoors.
Dr. Casey Drake graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Nebraska College of Medicine. She lives in Dallas with her husband and daughter with whom she enjoys spending time. Dr. Drake is the interior designer for Pecan Tree Pediatrics and delights in design and décor.
Dr. Virenda Wood graduated from Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee at Memphis College of Medicine. She lives in Rowlett with her husband and sons. Dr. Wood enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
Dr. Nicole Laird graduated from Baylor and University of Texas Medical Branch. She lives in Dallas where she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, craft projects, yoga, staying active, and supporting the Baylor Bears.
Dr. Velouette Zavadil graduated from Cornell and the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She has training as a Certified Lactation Consultant and teaches self-hypnosis through the National Pediatric Hypnosis Training Institute. She enjoys travel, concerts, cooking, and biking by the lake with her husband and children.
Dr. Rachel Ternan graduated from TCU and Baylor College of Medicine. In her free time, she spends time with her husband, their two dogs, and extended family. She enjoys hiking and photography.
Dr. Lynne McKeown Day graduated from Boston College and Creighton University. She worked with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps for San Diego Youth and Community Services with homeless and runaway youth. She enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, cooking, and being outside.
Dr. Rae Luan graduated from Duke and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She lives in Dallas with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, staying active, and traveling to new places.
