Oceans Behavioral Hospital provides both quality outpatient and inpatient services. While working with both physicians and staff, outpatient treatment plans are tailored to meet each patient’s specific needs for medication management, group therapy, and monthly meetings with physicians.
Inpatient treatment at Oceans Behavioral Hospital focuses specifically on the unique physical and emotional needs of older adults and seniors, beginning with psychiatric care and close monitoring by medical physicians to ensure overall health and wellbeing. Older adults and seniors can require inpatient behavioral health services for a variety of reasons, whether as the result of a life-long mental illness now compounded by aging, significant life events like a death in the family, or complications and side effects from multiple medications. At Oceans, they believe all people are to be treated with the dignity they deserve, and they are just as committed to family members and caregivers as they experience this time of distress for their loved one. They offer family and caregiver support and therapy programs.
