The founding partners of Northwest Diagnostic Clinic have been caring for families in North Houston and The Woodlands since 1975. Since that time, NWDC has grown to a complete care facility of twenty different providers that provide the highest quality medical care in Houston. They continue to add providers and specialists to bring a broader range of head-to-toe healthcare to the community. There are currently fourteen internal medicine and family practice providers, three rheumatologists, a general surgeon, an interventional spine and joint care provider, and a dietician.

The highly skilled doctors and clinicians assembled over the decades have consistently operated under a single underlying principle—practice quality medicine. This message is carried forward by each new team member and healthcare provider that joins the NWDC family. The expectation of high quality patient care is extended not only to all NWDC staff, but also to the specialists that partner with NWDC for specialization referrals.

Along with quality healthcare services in the areas of internal medicine, family practice, rheumatology, interventional spine and joint care, pain management, general surgery, and diabetes care, NWDC also provides a full host of ancillary services including infusion therapy, diagnostic imaging, immigration physicals, clinical research, medically controlled weight management, and a state-of-the-art CLIA-certified laboratory.

The infusion suites, located at both Cypress Station and in The Woodlands, are designed to provide the quiet and comfortable environment needed for infusion therapy sessions. The laboratory is open early every weekday for specimen collection for patient convenience when fasting is required.

The comprehensive diagnostic imaging center at Cypress Station is equipped with X-ray, ultrasound, bone densitometry (DEXA), computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The imaging center in Shenandoah/The Woodlands is equipped with X-ray, ultrasound and DEXA. NWDC maintains accreditation by the American College of Radiology in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Ultrasound.

There are two main NWDC locations – Cypress Station, located on Cypress Station Drive two blocks west of I-45 on FM 1960, and in Shenandoah/The Woodlands, located on the corner of Research Forest and Six Pines behind the Valero gas station. Also offered are interventional spine and joint care and pain management services at several other locations throughout Houston, including the Spring location on Peakwood and in Central Houston on Binz Street.

The highly-trained team of medical professionals and office staff work in unison to ensure that every patient receives the best possible care in a courteous and comfortable environment. From scheduling to the front desk, from the exam room to the back office, and at all other points along the healthcare process, NWDC strives to make each and every person feel at home the moment they walk through the door, whether they’re an established patient or new to the practice.
