The specialists at North Texas Neurosurgical and Spine Center together offer comprehensive care for all neurological concerns including minimally invasive spine surgery, artificial disc replacement, spinal fusion surgery, image-guided craniotomy, minimally invasive vascular procedures such as embolization, coiling and stenting, brain tumor surgery evaluation and treatment of spinal deformities as well as postsurgical and IU management. “We take a conservative approach to treatment wherever possible—with the benefits of less pain and better outcomes,” said Dr. Yves Meyer. “Turning to a trusted and skilled physician for information about treatment options and a plan of care is important—and some of the best medicine you can give yourself.”

Meet the North Texas Neurosurgical and Spine Center Team
Tanya S. Dixon, D.O., is among approximately 100 neurosurgeons nationally who are fellowship-trained in both endovascular and microsurgical techniques. She is skilled in the treatment of aneurysms, vascular malformations, carotid artery stenosis (narrowing of the arteries) and other vascular diseases.
Yves J. Meyer, M.D., has spent 22-plus years in private practice, diagnosing and treating neurological disorders in adults, including degenerative spine disease, disc herniations and neuralgia. He also treats patients who have suffered trauma to the head, spine or spinal cord and those who require surgery for skull-base pituitary or other tumors.
Gregory H. Smith, D.O., F.A.C.O.S., is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. He has more than 23 years of experience treating lumbar disc, cervical spine disc and degenerative diseases, and performing complex and minimally invasive spine surgery.
Diana E. Wilson, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She has 20-plus years of experience as a neurosurgeon and is the medical director for Neurological Trauma at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. Her special interests include minimally invasive spine and brain surgery.
John Laurence, P.A.-C., is a certified physician assistant with 13-plus years of experience in surgical subspecialty practice. He is a Fort Worth native but completed his medical training in Cleveland, Ohio, with clerkships at Case Western Reserve University Hospital in The Cleveland Clinic.
Paula Olsen, P.A.-C., is a certified physician assistant and longtime resident of Fort Worth. She completed her medical training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center after attending Baylor University for her undergraduate studies.
Natalia Tan, P.A.-C., completed her physician assitant training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and her undergraduate education at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.
Kristina Ng, C.R.N.P., is a certified registered nurse practitioner who earned her nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Susan Hobbs, F.N.P.-B.C., is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her B.S. in nursing at the University of Missouri at Kansas City and spent 13 years working as an intensive care registered nurse before pursuing a master’s degree in nursing.
Close affiliations with the accredited neurosurgery program through Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth allows the team at North Texas Neurosurgical and Spine Center to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for a number of conditions.
