The notion that no one likes going to the dentist was debunked when Dr. Allen Jahangiri opened his practice, Noble Smile. The fact that he basically grew up in a dental office, where his mom worked as a hygienist, likely contributed to the level of care he provides his patients. A Houston native, Dr. Jahangiri has “more training than most general dentists,” and is just as comfortable seeing a child through his first visit as he is helping a senior adult replace missing teeth.
He completed his dental training at the University of Texas, Health Science Center in San Antonio (UTHSCSA), under the direction of some of the most renowned dentists and oral surgeons. Dr. Jahangiri then went on to complete an additional year of residency, where he mastered a number of techniques and procedures practiced only by the best. He understands the anxiety that some may associate with a dental visit and is extensively trained in sedation dentistry. He and his wife, a pharmacist at Texas Children’s Hospital, welcomed a baby boy to their family last year.
