When Natalie Roberson, co-owner of Natalie Roberson Photography, began taking photos of her three children – Tristan, 13, Trevor, 10, and Troy, 7 – she did it to capture memories. However, she soon discovered a sense of joy and fulfillment that ran deeper than being a mom snapping photos of her growing family. So, Natalie taught herself photography and invested in top-of-the-line Nikon camera equipment so she could capture memories for other families, too.

In 2012, Natalie launched her photography business full time with her husband, Nick. Today, this husband-and-wife photography team has earned a reputation as two of the top portrait and wedding photographers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Reflecting on her career, Natalie is grateful for the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with her clients while getting to work alongside her husband. “We really understand each other and know our skill sets, which allows us to work efficiently,” she says. “We push each to be the best versions of ourselves, and we challenge each other to grow in our photography business. We are constantly learning by taking workshops and continuing education classes together.”

Natalie is also guided by her faith, citing her favorite Bible verse as Matthew 7:7: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.”

She says, “If you believe in your heart what you want for your life, both personally and professionally, then obtaining it is within reach. Prayers are important every day, and in today’s times, it is even more important to ask for support and guidance and live with gratitude.”
