The owner, and founder, comes from a legacy of home remodelers and builders, so building is in her blood. “It’s one of my greatest loves,” she shared. “Whether we are building a custom one-of-a-kind unit or building relationships, everything starts with building.” It was only natural that after Mika completed her service in the United States military and had a family of her own, that she would jump right back into what she was born to do. She spent the next 15 years of her life dedicated to pouring her time and heart into building her own successful businesses using the knowledge, wisdom, and experience she had learned. “As hard as it was, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The lessons I learned forged me into the woman I am today and helped me realize that with God, all things truly are possible.”

From there, Freedom Iron Doors was born. “I took everything I knew about this industry and used it for God’s good,” the entrepreneur said. “It’s not about building an empire; it’s about making an impact. That’s what we do, one door and one customer at a time — we leave our fingerprints all over!”
