Dr. Allon also identifies and treats complex disorders associated with infertility including severe male infertility, endocrine disorders, severe endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or any other congenital anomaly which requires medical or complex surgery.

“We strive to minimize multiple pregnancies (triplets and more) at all costs, and use specific methods to help ensure this,” said Dr. Allon said, a nationally-recognized, dual board-certified reproductive infertility expert.

In addition to the full spectrum of infertility services, Dr. Allon is an expert in laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis and other conditions. Additionally, he has built a very successful assisted reproductive technology program (IVF) which includes a Donor Egg Program. The practice’s fully accredited reproductive laboratories are directed by Dr. Dmitri Dozortsev. Board certified in embryology and andrology, Dr. Dozortsev is one of the pioneers in his field.

Dr. Allon takes a multi-faceted, holistic approach to fertility treatment, helping couples reach for optimal emotional and physical health before conceiving.

“We look at things a little differently, and assess both partners to help stabilize their health before conception. It can impact the sperm as well as to resolve health problems that could affect the pregnancy and fetus,” Dr. Allon said.

Native Houstonian Dr. Michael Allon is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He completed a medical degree and training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine, and a two-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the prestigious Wayne State University School of Medicine in Michigan. “Dr. Allon and the Advanced Fertility Center of Texas changed our lives.  We choose Dr. Allon and AFCT because he helped friends of ours have twins after they were turned down by other local fertility centers, and now we are pregnant with twins! Dr. Allon and his staff’s professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond for us at all hours of the day, and on weekends really helped us manage through the entire process. Everyone in the office learns the patients, asks about progress, and they care about our outcomes. I have already recommended to our friends that they see AFCT, and we will always be extremely grateful for their services and the outcome!” – J.R.
