Meet the Energy Corridor’s Latest Attraction

Office Evolution

By Melissa Gautier

Siblings Johnny Goff and Kerri Rigsby were looking for a business opportunity that would provide flexibility for their families. Their search led them to a popular new concept that has exploded in recent years featuring flexible, on-demand offices and workspaces. Office Evolution, the largest and fastest co-working franchisor in the United States, was the perfect fit for them. Johnny and his wife, Faith, along with Johnny’s sister Kerri and her husband, Carey, are co-owners of Office Evolution’s Energy Corridor co-working location. This new location will offer entrepreneurs, small businesses and start-ups the support, service, and camaraderie they need to thrive. Located in Houston’s Energy Corridor, the location offers a variety of workspaces and fosters a strong community where professionals can build connections and network without long-term lease commitments or heavy financial burdens.

Services and Amenities

Whether you require a workspace for one day or one year, Office Evolution has you covered. The 12,113 square-feet co-working center has an open, modern feel with plenty of natural light. It offers 52 fully-furnished private offices as well as shared workspace rooms for collaborating. Additionally, training and conference rooms, and a break room give small to medium-sized businesses access to everything they need to be productive. Reliable and secure Wi-Fi and beverages are provided at no extra charge, as well as private phone numbers for monthly members. Additionally, private office members have use of the conference room at a deeply discounted rate.

Flexible Workspace Options Based on Your Needs

Working from home is literally living at work and can quickly lead to burnout. Seeking a respite from stay-at-home work orders?

“Our fully-furnished private or shared workspaces provide a flexible plan for both individuals and businesses,” Faith says. “We offer small businesses a footprint for growth and room for expansion as they progress.” Private office membership includes a fully furnished office, peace and quiet, and 60 minutes of phone service that includes answering and transferring your calls. “Our members appreciate our new location and enjoy being close to Houston’s many global businesses,” Johnny says. “An added bonus is we’re conveniently next door to Top Golf, allowing members to handily entertain clients and provide recreation after a successful workday.”

Virtual Memberships

Traveling for business is now even easier with a virtual office membership to any of Office Evolution’s 72 nationwide locations. They have taken extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of their members and are adhering to all CDC guidelines. Stop in any of their business lounges, readily available with 24-hour access seven days a week. All you need to bring is your equipment.

Maintaining a Healthy and Safe Environment

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Office Evolution has remained open to continue providing essential business services to its members. At the center of Office Evolution’s success is its Ohana (Hawaiian for family), which has helped relay a sense of business continuity to the thousands of solopreneurs and small as well as medium-sized businesses that utilize the brand’s services across its network.

Despite the current pandemic, Kerri says business has been great and is steadily increasing. “People that have been working from home are seeking a relaxed atmosphere to conduct business,” she says. Some companies are even setting up satellite offices as a way to cut costs and stay productive while returning to work.

As the demand for flexible, suburban workspace grows, dedicated safety protocols have been put in place to ensure members and staff have a healthy, protected office environment. Enhanced cleaning has been implemented, including an electrostatic disinfecting system. “Per protocol, we are currently operating at 50 percent capacity in common areas to meet social distancing requirements,” Carey explains. Chairs have been removed in common areas to promote six feet of distance, and hand sanitizer and disinfecting cleaner is available in all common areas. Masks are required in common areas and will be provided if you do not have your own.

Nichole Moore is the office suite’s manager. She is happy to provide a tour and discuss your business needs to determine the best option for you. Future plans for Faith and her co-owners include expansion to additional Houston areas.
