Mark Craig, DDS, MD

For more than 20 years, Dr. Mark Craig has been the “go-to person” for oral surgery expertise and patient needs in North Texas. With an emphasis on patient safety and best practices, he is the one of the first and few dual degree providers in the area, meaning he is both physician and dentist. He says, “We have the capacity to treat and manage patients with complex medical issues and have the flexibility to provide these services in a hospital setting when requested or when medically necessary.” Because of his qualifications, he can safely provide care that few others are truly qualified to give.

Safety First

Any anxieties patients may have about oral surgery can be laid to rest with Dr. Craig. His office possesses a level 4 permit to provide office-based anesthesia services to adults and children. His office is equipped with the latest innovations in patient monitoring and is staffed by highly trained personnel who have achieved national certification in anesthesia assisting. Every patient is safe with Dr. Craig and his staff.

“Our staff undergoes frequent training in emergency preparedness thus providing a state of readiness should the need arise,” Dr. Craig says. “Unlike most other dental offices, our facility was designed solely for the purpose of providing oral surgical care and must meet standards adopted by the state and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.”

When you are seeking oral surgical care or related anesthesia services, Dr. Craig encourages you to ask about the provider’s training, the suitability of the office for the procedures, and whether policies are in place to assure your safety.

Latest Technology

Since the 1990s when implants were still considered experimental, Dr. Craig started placing dental implants. He has been setting the bar ever since. From single tooth to full arch replacement, Dr. Craig’s office has incorporated the latest techniques and materials in dental imaging, bone and soft tissue regeneration, and guided surgery to increase dental implant success. To help set a high standard in his own office, Dr. Craig travels the U.S. and abroad in search of new techniques and procedures that improve his surgical skill and enhance patient outcomes.

On top of his work in private practice, Dr. Craig is an associate professor at Texas A & M College of Dentistry in Dallas and serves as a consultant to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. He is also active in many professional societies including the Texas Society of Oral Surgeons and is a diplomate of American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

With the name you know and care you can trust, Dr. Mark Craig is the clear choice for your oral surgical needs.
