Local Students and Schools Get Theatre Award Noms

Dallas Summer Musicals

Dallas Summer Musicals has announced its 2019 nominees for the 8th Annual DSM High School Music Theatre Awards, which will take place on May 9th. Patterned after Broadway’s Tony Awards, these honors recognize the power of the arts and recognize educational and artistic of North Texas students and schools. Awards are presented in 16 categories. Among schools receiving local recognition are McKinney High School (Phantom of the Opera) and McKinney North High School (Big Fish).
