Lake Pointe Medical Partners Lung and Sleep Consultants at Rockwall are experts in pulmonary and sleep medicine. Whether you have issues with daytime sleepiness, insomnia, loud snoring, shortness of breath, or chest abnormalities, Dr. Fabro and his team are ready to help. “Our team takes great pride in what we do,” Dr. Fabro said. “We feel honored that people come to us for help and we treat each individual patient with the dignity and respect that he or she deserves.”
Dr. Fabro opened the practice in Rockwall in 2012 after separating from the United States Air Force after 11 years of active duty service. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cal Poly Pomona. He went on to attend the Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific on a full Air Force Health Professions scholarship. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Fabro completed his internal medicine residency at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He was selected for subspecialty training in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
After completing his fellowships, Dr. Fabro was selected to remain on staff at Wilford Hall Medical Center to help train internal medicine residents and pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine fellows. While stationed there, Dr. Fabro was appointed the Pulmonary Flight Commander, Medical Director of Outpatient Pulmonary Services, and the Assistant Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Clinic.
Dr. Fabro has been happily married to his wife, Lynn, for 18 years. Lynn earned her bachelor’s degree in registered nursing from Azusa Pacific University and serves as the office manager. Dr. Fabro and Lynn have two children, a 15-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter. “Lynn and I were high school sweethearts,” Dr. Fabro said. “Lynn has been a blessing to me not only while at work but, more importantly, in life in general. She runs both the office and household smoothly. I honestly don’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for the love and support of my wife.” He and Lynn love spending any free time with their children. Their weekends are spent watching their children play competitive soccer and, as a family, they attend most of the FC Dallas soccer games as season ticket holders.
Dr. Fabro is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. He is also board certified in Sleep Medicine by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He is currently on the medical staff at Lake Pointe Medical Center, Presbyterian Hospital at Rockwall, and Texas Regional Medical Center in Sunnyvale. Of note, Dr. Fabro has specialized training in endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and electro-navigational bronchoscopy (ENB), which are extremely helpful in the workup of lung cancer.
