Cataracts and Eye Diseases
Cataracts occur when the natural lens of the eye becomes cloudy, making vision blurry and sensitive to bright lights and glare. Cataract surgery is a safe option to treat and restore clear vision. As a skilled eye surgeon practicing since 2014, Dr. Kuriachan’s main focus and the bulk of his practice is cataract correction. He is a knowledgeable expert in cataract surgery, involving the delicate process of removing the cloudy eye’s natural lens located behind the iris and pupil. It is then replaced and implanted with a new, crystal clear lens. With improved lens technology, Dr. Kuriachan is now able to achieve great vision with minimal dependence on glasses for all tasks.
Now Offering In-office Aesthetic Services
In addition to performing eye surgery, the Kuriachan Eye Institute is pleased to offer aesthetic options for patients to not only feel their best but look their best. Neurotoxins, injectable dermal fillers, Accutite, and Morpheous 8 are all in-office procedures utilized to create a healthier, younger, and more refreshed appearance. Tightened skin, fuller facial features, and the reformation of collagen are some of the amazing results patients can expect.
Dr. Kuriachan graduated magna cum laude in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He earned his medical degree, graduating with honors from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in College Station.
