Klein Collins HOSA is a health organization that emphasizes opportunities in the medical field. HOSA gives back to the community which enables the group to grow as a family in an environment that cultivates learning, fellowship, and opportunities in the medical fields as they raise awareness and first-hand knowledge of medical issues. This year Klein Collins HOSA has volunteered at Walk to Defeat ALS in Houston and Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies. HOSA creates a sense of comradely through the discovery of shared interests among students within the school community as friendships are formed. Servitude is a core value that HOSA strives to instill in their members that is greatly facilitated by their involvement in our community.
Together with the guidance of the advisors and officers, members can thoroughly obtain sufficient knowledge about current events in the healthcare industry. The organization also brings in medical professionals, enabling the students to receive extensive information about medical careers and education in the healthcare industry.
