NAM GEARS UP FOR ITS 21st ANNUAL JEANS & JEWELS GALA
Over 50 guests gathered at Champions Golf Club for the Jeans & Jewels Kickoff Party on Wednesday, March 27. Light bites and cocktails were served throughout the evening as everyone listened to the exciting plans for this year’s Jeans & Jewels Luncheon and Gala.
Jeans & Jewels consists of two events within the year which together form the largest annual fundraiser for Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM). The proceeds benefit NAM’s programs and services. Last year, all of the Jeans & Jewels events together brought in over $770,000.
During the Kickoff Party, it was announced that the Jeans & Jewels Luncheon will be at Shirley Acres on Thursday, September 12, 2019.
It was also announced that the 21st Annual Jeans & Jewels Gala…A Texas Size Party theme will be “Las Vegas Rodeo”. There is sure to be all the glam and glitz that fills the city of Las Vegas, along with that touch of western flair.
The event will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. This year’s Gala honorees will be Carol and Calvin Cobb, with Corporate Honoree, Southwestern Energy. And just like last year, the Gala will be followed by the Young Professionals After-Party Gala, with a live performance from the Austin based cover-band, Skyrocket!
Northwest Assistance Ministries is a non-profit, community-based social service agency that strives to meet basic human needs through Neighbors Helping Neighbors. NAM provides assistance in areas such as food, shelter, health, education and domestic violence awareness and intervention. And just like last year, the Gala will be followed by a Young Professionals After-Party, presented by PurePoint Financial, with a live performance from the Austin based cover-band, Skyrocket!
