Kathleen Connolly spends her days molding character, fostering self-confidence, advancing life direction, and enriching the lives of young people. She also teaches dance. As founder and owner of Connolly Dance Arts, Kathleen has taught hundreds of boys and girls lessons in resilience and dedication, inspiring them to dig down and discover what they’re made of.

Some of them are now bringing their own kids to the studio. “That’s an unbelievable blessing for me,” Kathleen said. “One of my former students is even teaching for me now. Our goal in everything we do is to provide love and support to the children in our community through dance,” she said.

Whether your child is in preschool or high school, whether they’re taking ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, or drill team prep, or whether they’re dancing for fun or planning their future around dance, Kathleen and her staff want to empower them to express their individual talents, gain confidence, and achieve a feeling of pride in their accomplishments.

“All our instructors are adults with either dance degrees or professional dance experience,” she said. “We keep our teacher/student ratio low, so each child gets the attention they deserve.” For more than 30 years, Kathleen and Connolly Dance Arts have provided dance instruction with positive feedback in a fun, energetic environment, helping every child feel valued, so they can learn to express themselves through the art of dance.
