RE/MAX Associates of Arlington and Mansfield

As a child, Jody Kautz thought she might grow up to be a teacher. Now, as the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Associates of Arlington and RE/MAX Associates of Mansfield, she’s realizing that dream as she mentors and empowers her team of over 70 sales associates as well as educating and guiding her clients to make the best choices for themselves and their families.

“Real estate is more than a job to me,” Jody says, “It’s a career path that continues to challenge and excite me.” She bases her business—like her life—on Christian principles and loves to serve her community and her RE/MAX agents. Jody is the perfect blend of wit, fun, Christian values, and business savvy. Clients appreciate her uncompromising commitment toward their home sale or purchase and her agents benefit from her years of experience and breadth of knowledge.

To Jody, buying and selling a home should be fun. Considering that, for most families, a home is the largest investment they’ll ever make, Jody offers them her extensive local market knowledge and keen business sense then walks with them step by step through what can be a complicated process. “It’s my goal to make the entire home sale or purchase as positive as possible,” she said. “Making others laugh or smile can change the dynamic of any situation. I happen to love real estate and, if I can take a client who’s feeling stressed and anxious about a transaction and insert some humor, it makes all our days better.”

Jody is more than just an award-winning broker. She’s a mentor, a team leader, a role model, trainer, and, to many of her clients, a family friend. With more than 41 years’ experience as a DFW broker/owner, Jody feels privileged to lend her extensive knowledge, expertise (as a lifelong Texan), and limitless energy to the real estate process, not just to her clients but in enabling her agents to achieve their goals through training, coaching, and encouragement.

Jody is Texas through-and-through. “I can’t imagine living anywhere else,” she said. “My agents and I live, work, play, and worship in this community and we love it. There’s a certain feeling in the air here that fills me with a sense of pride. I feel energized by that feeling and I hope that’s reflected in my quality of work. I truly love empowering my RE/MAX agents to realize their full potential and become all they can be in this field.”

Jody is an active member of the community and an advocate for Children’s Miracle Network and Cook Children’s Fort Worth. She attends Rush Creek Church in Arlington. She’s the proud mama of two amazing, driven, successful children who also live in the area. She loves the caring adults they’ve become and is an over-the-top proud grandmother of five amazing kids ranging in age from 11 to 23.
