Dr. Jennine Huet is passionate about her profession—and the community in which she practices. Her Woodlands-based practice is like a second home to her, and she wants her patients to feel the same when they come in for a visit. “We offer a comfortable and friendly environment and are committed to providing the highest quality dental care available using the latest techniques. Our goal is for patients to have teeth that look good, feel good and last a lifetime.”
A new patient to Dr. Huet’s office can expect a comprehensive assessment, which includes low-radiation digital X-rays; digital photos; oral cancer and periodontal exams; and chewing muscle and bite evaluations, which may involve molds. “We also listen very closely to our patients’ dental health concerns and goals,” she said. “After this thorough evaluation, we discuss our findings with the patient and together develop a treatment plan that allows for optimal oral health.”
Dr. Huet’s range of services include tooth-colored resin fillings; natural-looking veneers; metal-free crowns; implant placement and restoration; power bleaching or “whitening” of natural teeth; snore guards; non-surgical TMJ treatment; full-mouth reconstruction; and Cerec crowns, solid porcelain crowns that are milled and cemented in one visit. She also offers several types of sedation.
Dr. Jennine Huet graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. She served as a dental assistant, dental lab technician and dentist in the U.S. Army Reserve for 13 years. Committed to advances in the field, Dr. Huet takes advantage of advanced education opportunities, acquiring 100-200 hours annually when the state requires only 12. She gives back to the profession by teaching part time at the University of Texas Dental School and is on the board of directors for the Houston Academy of General Dentistry.
Always striving to be at the top of her field, Dr. Huet is continually learning about the newest technologies and procedures. She takes part in annual advanced education at the world-renowned Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and has been granted Fellowships at the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Huet uses this knowledge in her practice, as well as her community- service work. She and her team regularly take part in Missions of Mercy in rural Texas communities, restoring smiles and providing pain relief that would otherwise be unavailable to people in some of the poverty stricken areas. “I love what I do and want to make lives fuller, richer and healthier. This can start with a smile.”
