Principals of the public accounting firm MB Group, Janet Haston and Susan Bryant, specialize in serving business owners, stakeholders, and families with tax services, consulting, retirement planning, and advising. The pair have worked together since 2004 and have spent the last 15 years working alongside one another at MB Group. Janet oversees all tax services, providing consulting when complex issues arise. Brainstorming ideas and presenting creative tax solutions is one of her favorite ways to help clients succeed. “Meticulously detail-oriented, she’s a masterful genius in understanding the tax code,” Susan says, denoting Janet’s strengths. “It’s an art, not a science.”

Building on her experiences as an auditor, Susan works with clients to bring efficiency and discipline to their businesses’ accounting through the use of MBG’s outsourced services. “I thrive in crafting personalized, innovative strategies that allow business owners the freedom to dream big, focus on growth, and plan for taxes.”

Today, their group has grown to include a total of 18 tax team and accounting team members supported by six client concierge specialists. Dedicated to their client’s success, this like-minded, all-women team of professionals aims to serve as their clients’ advisors and resources for strategies and solutions.
