If you’re considering plastic surgery, your choice of surgeon is the most important decision you’ll make. Dr. Raj began practicing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area two years ago and is opening a new office in the centrally located Las Colinas/Coppell area to cater to patients from all over DFW. He has a very impressive background and credentials. He graduated from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Dr. Raja Mohan next landed a merit scholarship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class. He then matched into the highly competitive plastic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins where he had the opportunity to assist with one of the most extensive face transplants ever performed. Johns Hopkins Hospital has consistently ranked as one of the top hospitals in the United States. After finishing his training, he moved to DFW with his family and completed a one-year aesthetic fellowship at Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute.
This impressive list of credentials launched him into his plastic surgery career. His hands-on, patient-centered approach has helped it flourish. As one patient wrote:
“From my first consultation (Dr. Mohan) was very informative and honest about what I could expect from my procedure. He answered all my questions and made sure I was entirely comfortable with the process. He was extremely attentive during the recovery period and made sure he was available to me at every opportunity.”
Dr. Mohan, a board-certified plastic surgeon, offers a full range of plastic surgery services including procedures of the breast, body, and face, as well as nonsurgical med spa services such as facials, fillers, and injectables. His boutique practice offers personalized care. “In my practice, my goal is to offer the highest quality of care to my patients with the latest technologies and advancements,” he said. “My staff and I strive to treat our patients like family, and make our office feel like home.”
Because each patient is different, Dr. Mohan listens to their desires and hopes. “Each patient is unique, so I devise an individualized aesthetic treatment plan to help achieve their goals. My team is there every step of the way so we can provide phenomenal results and an unparalleled experience.”
When not on the job, Dr. Mohan enjoys time with his wife, Bala, who is a healthcare attorney at ByrdAdatto, and his two-year-old daughter, Mira. He also enjoys cooking and wine tasting, traveling, and playing golf. He’s looking forward to his first medical mission trip in March to repair cleft lip deformities in children from developing countries.
