Institute for Hormonal Balance and BioTE

For years now, Mandy Cotten has dramatically improved quality of life for men and women through optimizing hormone levels with bioidentical pellets placed under the skin. At the Institute for Hormonal Balance she and her staff strive to provide individualized treatment plans for patients in multiple stages of life and men and women alike. Bioidentical hormone treatment is not only one way they do this.

“For our female patients, we begin with comprehensive well women care,” Mandy said. “An annual well-women exam is a great time to go over any questions you have with your provider, talk about any symptoms you are having, and make sure your body is functioning the way it should. We’re not concerned merely with longevity, but with living life to its fullest potential.”

If hormone imbalance is an issue, Mandy may discuss the BioTE method of hormone optimization which includes balancing estrogen, testosterone, thyroid, and vitamin status so they work together in the body to establish optimal health. “Balanced hormones are essential for mental health and disease prevention as we age,” Mandy explained.

She also offers a full menu of aesthetic services, including Botox, dermal fillers, and SlimShots, so you can look as good as you feel. “SlimShots are a promising weight management support tool that combines a number of vitamins and nutrients to give your body the extra help it needs to burn fat and increase energy levels,” Mandy said.

Mandy Cotten received her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from TCU and completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Loyola University in New Orleans. “I’ve worked alongside Dr. Gary Donovitz, a world-renowned expert in hormone optimization and have been practicing the BioTE method of hormone optimization for five years, with wonderful success.” Mandy is also the Director of BioTE Clinic and Research and is currently conducting a study with veterans on PTSD and hormone balance. When not on the job, she spends as much time as possible with her husband, Casey, and their two children.
