At Inspire Physical Therapy and Wellness, Dr. Jennifer McCauley and her team of wellness professionals are committed to helping their patients live life to the fullest. “We don’t want people to simply live life without pain,” says Dr. McCauley. “We want them to live their most optimum life and be able to do everything they want to do.”
Whether you have been dealing with aches and pains or you want to enhance your athletic performance, Dr. McCauley can help. She is DFW’s premier physical therapist specializing in Pilates-based rehabilitation, orthopedic physical therapy, and pelvic health physical therapy.
Inspire Physical Therapy and Wellness offers a wide range of services, including customized physical wellness evaluations. For patients who do not necessarily need hands-on physical therapy, the practice provides one-on-one therapeutic Pilates sessions. The practice also offers convenient virtual physical therapy sessions that allow patients to maintain their treatment from the comfort of home.
Unlike typical physical therapy practices, Inspire Physical Therapy and Wellness sees only one patient per hour, eliminating any worry about social distancing. The practice also feels more like a spa than a clinical environment, with comfortable background music and Pilates equipment on-site. “We want our patients to feel completely relaxed when they come to see us,” says Dr. McCauley.
Holistic Healing for the Whole Family
Originally from California, Dr. McCauley brings a unique holistic approach to the North Texas practice. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, certified Pilates instructor, and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, she helps active, health-conscious individuals get back to the activities they love without the use of pain medication or injections.
Since 2002, Dr. McCauley has been helping people stay active and healthy through Pilates. “I believe that movement is medicine,” she says.
Dr. McCauley graduated in 2008 from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles, California, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. In 2012, she sought further specialization and became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Inspired by her love for learning and her own journey into motherhood, Dr. McCauley then pursued advanced postdoctoral training in pelvic health physical therapy through Herman and Wallace. She gained expertise in the field working in Kaiser Permanente’s urology department helping both men and women with pelvic floor dysfunction.
Dr. McCauley has received advanced manual therapy training in Functional Dry Needling, Graston technique, Myofascial Decompression (cupping), and Visceral Mobilization, and advanced training in Movement Science in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Redcord (Neurac), and NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT). She integrates these principles into her practice to help patients of all ages recover from injury.
“The most rewarding part of what I do is getting to make a profound difference in people’s lives,” says Dr. McCauley. “For me, it is truly a calling. I’m blessed to be able to use my skills to help others every day.”
