BY MEREDITH KNIGHT

Board-Certified Dermatologist Dr. Janine Hopkins is happy to be traveling again, teaching other dermatologists about medical and aesthetic skin treatment. For years, she has taught and lectured at national and international conferences and medical meetings on topics such as laser treatment for sun damage, anti-aging, and more.

“I’m blessed to be able to pursue both my passions — medicine and teaching,” she said. During the past two years, Dr. Hopkins has also perfected and patented her Trinnovations, CuraCator medical device, which she’s manufacturing and distributing throughout the U.S.A. hands-free, needle-free sterile device, the CuraCator enables clinicians to safely control the application of therapeutic products to compromised skin, with no waste or contamination, to enable and enhance healing.

Non-Surgical Skin-Cancer Treatment

Dr. Hopkins emphasizes non-surgical skin-cancer treatment. “Using advanced image-guided radiotherapy technology, I can cure skin cancer non-surgically,” she said. “Low-dose radiation technology allows me to destroy basal-cell carcinoma and squamous-cell carcinoma cells, allowing healthy skin to heal pain-free without cutting, stitching, or anesthesia, and with minimal risk of infection or scarring.” Only about one percent of the nation’s dermatology practices use this life-changing technology.

Reduce Acne Scarring and Rejuvenate Skin

Whether you struggle with acne scarring or surgical scars, or you simply want to improve your skin’s texture, tone, and color, Dr. Hopkins offers Eclipse EVO micro-needling. “My patients get smoother, younger-looking skin without the side effects or downtime of cosmetic surgery and lasers,” she said. “This technology increases the production of collagen and elastin to leave your skin smoother, fresher, and more uniform. It also stimulates blood flow and new collagen to targeted areas disrupting scars and prompting production of new cells, tissue, and healing resulting in glowing, healthy skin.” Dr. Hopkins is also using this technology combined with platelet-rich plasma to stimulate hair growth and treat thinning hair in men and women.

Psoriasis and Vitiligo Treatment

If you or someone you love suffers with skin conditions such as psoriasis, vitiligo, or atopic dermatitis, Dr. Hopkins can help with FDA-cleared, clinically proven Excimer lasers. Treatments are safe, effective, and pain-free and improvement is often visible after just a few treatments. The laser offers more-even skin tone for those suffering with vitiligo and remission for those suffering with psoriasis even in hard-to-treat areas such as the scalp, hands, and feet.

Hopkins Dermatology offers a full menu of cosmetic and medical dermatology treatments, including body sculpting for men and women, hormone replacement therapy, non-surgical brow and eyelid lifts, neck tightening, facial injections, and more.

She has been featured and quoted extensively by New Beauty Magazine as a “Top Doc” and expert injector. Her passion for dermatology and offering the most advanced science and technology are evident in her state-of-the-art medical clinics.
