Golfers across Houston joined JDRF Houston Gulf Coast Chapter for the 27th Annual Tee Up to Cure Diabetes golf tournament on a chilly day recently–but the cold didn’t stop the guests from enjoying a pleasant day of golf at BraeBurn Country Club. This year, local legend, PGA member, and coach to two time Major Championship winner Angel Cabrera, Charlie Epps, joined in on the fun as the keynote speaker.

When all was said and done, the event raised a total of over $134,000 for JDRF, which seeks to progressively remove the impact of diabetes from people’s lives.
