Dr. Heidi Schultz’s passion for treating the whole person, as well as the whole family, led her to specialize in family medicine. When she established Fulshear Family Medicine in 2006, she realized her dream of opening her own private practice but didn’t stop there.

Interested in best-serving her patients and growing with the community, Dr. Schultz added board-certified pediatrician Dr. Danny T. Le to the Fulshear Family Medicine team in September 2014.
“Dr. Le’s personality, background and expertise impressed me. I knew he would fit into the practice as well as the community,” said Dr. Schultz, who is known for her friendly, caring nature.

“We get to know our patients and develop a long-term, trusting, and communicative relationship with them,” Dr. Schultz said. “Many wrestled with when to transition their children from a pediatrician to the family doctor. Bringing Dr. Le on board solves their dilemma.”
“Patients and parents love the convenience,” Dr. Le said. “Parents schedule a wellness exam for themselves at the same time they are taking their children to see me for a school physical or a check-up. If kids get sick and parents catch it, too, one visit to the doctor takes care of everyone.”
MEET THE DOCTORS
Heidi Ann Schultz, M.D., a native Texan raised in Houston, is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She was drawn to the diversity and complexity family medicine offers and enjoys treating a full range of health problems. She also focuses on preventive care to help patients optimize their health.
She received a B.S. in Business Administration from Texas A&M University, graduating with honors, a medical degree from the University of Texas in the Houston Medical Center, and then completed a family practice residency at the University of Texas. Married with two grown sons and three grandchildren, she is an avid reader and horseback rider and active in the Fulshear and Katy communities.
Danny T. Le, D.O., a native Houstonian, is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He received a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Houston Baptist University, graduating with honors, earned a medical degree from the University of North Texas, and completed a residency in pediatrics at Texas A&M. After residency, he worked in the pediatric urgent care at UTMB, where he also served as an assistant professor.
“It’s a privilege to watch children grow and turn into wonderful young adults and to be part of this,” Dr. Le said. “I treat kids when they get sick, but I also play a nurturing role in helping shape their health and encouraging them to stay healthy.”
Dr. Le and his wife are excited to be expecting their first child. He enjoys spending time with his two terrier dogs, traveling, and is an avid Houston Texans and Rockets fan.
In addition to Drs. Schultz and Le, physician assistants Syndi Nobles, PA-C, Heather Barr, PA-C, and Jessica Meyer, PA-C, make up the practice’s medical team.
