Foot and Ankle Specialists of The Woodlands

Foot and Ankle Specialists of The Woodlands is a comprehensive medical office with podiatrists Dr. Marcin N. Vaclaw and Dr. Brian J. Conley. Both physicians have the latest medical training and know innovative techniques to treat a host of ankle and foot conditions. They are forerunners of many of the latest, innovative podiatry procedures.

Unlike many in traditional medicine, Drs. Vaclaw and Conley specialize in discovering the root of an issue so they can effectively treat the cause, not just the symptom. They recently partnered with a diabetic treatment company to assist patients in all stages of neuropathy. The podiatrists conduct a battery of quick, painless tests such as nerve biopsies, nerve conduction, and nerve scans, in order to assess the primary cause of the patient’s condition. Through these tests they can acquire a quantitative value of how good or bad nerves are.

Dr. Vaclaw explains, “Even with diabetic patients, there are other things involved that have to be managed; we give them not just a comprehensive treatment, but a comprehensive diagnosis.” Consequently, the doctors are able to craft treatment plans that address every factor present, specific to each individual need.

By taking a more holistic approach to treatment, many patients are able to cease taking the traditional medicines, eliminating the risk of some of the detrimental side effects. Dr. Vaclaw is empathetic to his neuropathy patients, as he once suffered from it himself. He understands the severe discomfort and often debilitating pain and has researched the newest treatments and procedures in order to bring his patients thorough relief. Dr. Vaclaw had one patient whose neuropathy was so severe, he couldn’t feel the temperature of the ocean until he was knee deep in the water. Within three months of treatment, he can now feel the sand in his toes and the water under his feet!

Drs. Vaclaw and Conley are committed to patient care. They both make home visits two days a week for those physically unable to come to the office. They’ve partnered with many home health care companies in order to meet needs others cannot. Drs. Vaclaw and Conley treat countless ankle and foot issues. They utilize stem cell therapy to benefit patients with sports injuries, plantar fasciitis, neuromas, and tendonitis, and lasers to treat toe-fungus.

Regardless of the diagnosis, Drs. Vaclaw and Conley are confident they can improve your quality of life. They offer both surgical and non-surgical options and are dedicated to patient care. For a complete list of conditions treated, please visit: or call (281) 909-7722.
