Dr. Beverly Reed

IVFMD

Dr. Beverly Reed has always had a passion for helping women get the most out of life and realize their dream of being a mother. But a special encounter with one particular patient nearly 10 years ago helped Reed realize her true calling.

“I was an OB/GYN and was delivering babies, with a little fertility treatment on the side,” she recalled. “There was one patient who had a fibroid, and not long after I removed it, she got pregnant. She was so happy because she’d been trying for so long, and it was that feeling I had when she said she was pregnant that led me to pursue further training.”

Fast forward to today, and Dr. Reed — affectionately known by Instagram followers as @drhappyeggs — has countless heartfelt stories about women who struggled for years to have babies but ultimately found success with Dr. Reed and the amazing team at IVFMD in Grapevine. IVFMD has three locations (Irving, Grapevine, and Arlington), and has been a top fertility center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for more than 20 years. They specialize in everything from egg freezing and ovulation induction to in vitro fertilization, intrauterine insemination, and more.

Dr. Reed sought out IVFMD and fell in love with the outlook Drs. Sy Le and Renju Raj had toward offering fertility options.

“Dr. Le explained to me that he felt fertility treatment should be covered by insurance, and a lot of times, it’s not,” said Dr. Reed, who is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the subspecialty of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. “Knowing that, he wanted to make it as affordable as possible for as many patients as possible. I loved that vision because it has given women opportunities to have treatment when they otherwise may not have been able to pursue treatment. We are a very busy practice, but we’re organized and efficient, which helps us offer top-of-the-line care.”

What patients of Dr. Reed’s Grapevine practice really love is how homey and welcoming the entire facility is. Dr. Reed designed everything, from the waiting rooms that feel like living rooms to comfortable exam rooms and the many encouraging sayings and quotes on the walls. There’s even a bulletin board in the restroom for patients to take and leave positive affirmations. It’s all to create a safe environment where women can get the help they need.

“I feel so blessed to do something I enjoy doing, and I’m constantly researching what’s new, what’s coming out next, and what I can offer my patients,” Dr. Reed said. She and her husband, Craig, live in Southlake with their three children. “My kids drive my passion. Every time I look at them, I think gosh, I want everyone to experience that type of love.”
