Donna L. Kiesel, DDS
When given the chance to brag on their employer, the staff of Donna L. Kiesel, DDS couldn’t say enough. We heard tales of Dr. Kiesel surprising them with flowers on their work anniversaries, taking them out for their birthdays, and always understanding when they need time off work for family-related reasons. We heard about a boss who’s quick to praise a job well done and who encourages her employees to expand their education in their field. That might explain why, when most dental practices experience high employee turnover, some of Dr. Kiesel’s employees have been with her 17 and 15 years.
“She’s one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet,” said Treatment Coordinator Hannah Taylor. “She’s thoughtful and generous and takes a true interest in our patients—not just as patients, but as people and friends. The patients feel her genuine warmth and, when they move out of state, many of them continue coming back to her for treatment.”
In fact, Dr. Kiesel has patients who’ve moved to New York, California, Florida, Oklahoma, and elsewhere around the country but insist on returning to her for their dental needs. Here’s a small spattering of her online reviews.
“I found Dr. Kiesel to be sensitive, down to earth, and extremely easy to talk to. The work she performed on my teeth felt relatively painless and turned out looking great.” – Cindy B.
“She did a comprehensive scope of work, explained it to me in detail, and involved me in the planning process, including the best use of my ‘out-of-pocket expenses.’ I’ve been extremely satisfied with the outcome.” – Greg P.
“I’ve been going to Dr. Kiesel for 15 years and look forward to every visit. Dr. Kiesel is extremely friendly and does beautiful work, with a warm and calm demeanor.” – Sue B.
“If you prefer your dental treatment to be exceedingly professional and delivered with a smile and a good sense of humor, you can’t really ask for much more of a convivial environment.” – Gareth S.
“Dr. Kiesel is the friendliest, most approachable dentist I’ve ever had. The entire staff makes you feel welcome. They take the time to get to know each of their customers. I love going to the dentist now!” – Cari D.
And so, it’s been for more than 30 years. Now, as Dr. Kiesel is treating the children of children she treated—and she and her staff offer a combined 97 years of experience—her warmth and compassion are helping a new generation grow up seeing a trip to the dentist as something pleasant and stress-free. She and her staff offer preventative, restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry to patients of all ages. Their patient-centric office offers extras such as a fully stocked coffee bar, warm blankets and neck pillows, TVs and headphones in treatment rooms, and nitrous oxide as well as oral sedation for added comfort.
“I’ve always been self-conscious about my teeth. What a difference! I cannot believe I would ever acquire a beautiful smile! Dr. Kiesel and her team took great care of Me from the start to finish. I’m thrilled to see the transformation of my teeth. Love!!! My advice, don’t wait!! 110% worth it!” – Kelly M.
Dr. Kiesel understands how hard it can be to fit a dental appointment into your busy schedule. That’s why she offers appointments as early as 7:00 AM and during lunchtime, so you can see the dentist and get to work with time to spare. The office where she’s practiced since 2003 is conveniently located on the border of Valley Ranch and Coppell, near the corner of McArthur and Beltline. And she and her staff do everything they can to keep appointments on time and wait times short.
Meet Dr. Kiesel
A native of Irving, Donna Kiesel grew up around the dental practice where her mom worked. Consequently, she and her brother both chose a career in dentistry. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985 with a degree in biology then attended dental school in Dallas at Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating in 1989. She has practiced in the Irving and Coppell area for 30 years. Her professional associations include the Dallas County Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and American Dental Association. She participates in ongoing continuing education to learn all she can about advancing cosmetic technology and offer her patients even more reasons to smile.
Dr. Kiesel lives in Coppell where she’s an adoring dog mom. She stays active in St. Ann’s Catholic Church and is happy to meet the dental needs of many of the local clergy. She volunteers around the community including a monthly visit to a local hospice where she visits with and encourages patients. Dr. Kiesel caught the travel bug early and loves to find the time for a few trips a year. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
“Our patients’ comfort is our number one priority,” she said. “We want each patient to feel like they’re the only one we’re seeing that day, to slow down and really hear what they’re saying to us, to explain each thing we’re about to do and why. I’ve been blessed with an outstanding, friendly staff that shares my vision. We strive to go the extra mile—with every patient, every day—to ensure they’re as comfortable and informed as possible.”
