Growing up with a physician father and several family friends who were doctors, Curt Conrad knew he wanted to work in healthcare. When a fraternity brother headed to dental school, he joined him and soon discovered dentistry was the field for him. “That was over 30 years ago, and I wouldn’t change a thing,” he said. “Not a day goes by that I don’t look at my schedule and feel excited to see the folks who are coming in and get caught up with them.”
For 17 years, Dr. Conrad worked with a fantastic partner. Then he had the chance to take over the practice and inherit the patient base he loves. “Most of our staff has been here as long as I have,” he said. “They’ve joined me in caring for these great people. Our patients know us and trust us. I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life.”
A good thing recently got even better when Dr. Conrad welcomed Dr. Elisheva Niedelman to his dental team. “Dr. Elisheva Niedelman has been a breath of fresh air for our practice,” Dr. Conrad said. “She has a gentle chairside manner and upbeat personality that really put our patients at ease. And everyone benefits from having us together. Because we consult on difficult cases, our patients have a built-in second opinion.”
Meet Curt Conrad, DDS
Dr. Conrad attended Baylor University and Baylor College of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at Olin E. Teague Veterans Center and Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas, concentrating on facial pain, surgery, and intravenous (IV) sedation.
“I strive to take the bad parts out of dentistry while focusing on making every part as ideal as it can be — technically and from a comfort standpoint. My patients’ restored teeth should be as beautiful, healthy, functional, and aesthetic as the best natural teeth — maybe better.”
Dr. Conrad is a member of the teaching faculty at the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (CARD) and of the DCDS, TDA, ADA, and ADSA. Married to his high school sweetheart for 33 years, he’s blessed to be the father to three daughters and granddad to one grandson.
