Frisco ISD youngsters are getting involved with programming early

 

Students at Robertson Elementary enjoy the Hour of Code event
After reading the Itsy Bitsy Snowman, students at Sonntag Elementary code the sequence of events of the story
Trent Middle School students learn the fundamentals of Ozobots, pocket sized coding robots that are used to teach STEM skills

Local students are catching the coding bug early, thanks to various Hour of Code events, which are one-hour interactive programming tutorials that were held during Computer Science Education Week last month. To learn more about the worldwide event, check out HourOfCode.com.
