Women are wonderfully complex beings, and the physicians at Comprehensive OB/GYN understand this. Their diverse group of caregivers are all committed to the same principle—offering healthcare with an emphasis on prevention and health maintenance. With their dedication to patient education and empowerment, they provide resources and information to place each patient’s optimum health in her own hands.

Highly Regarded Physicians

The board certified physicians at Comprehensive OB/GYN are all Fellows of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and have received many recognitions and awards from the community they serve and the hospitals they work with. For three years in a row they were voted’s Best of Physician-OB/GYN. In 2016, they were voted Living Magazine’s Readers Choice. They’ve been Mom Approved by the readers of Dallas Child Magazine. Medical City of McKinney presented them with the Compassionate Caregiver award in 2016, and the Frist Humanitarian Award in 2014. Over the years, the physicians have served in several hospitals as chair of the OB/GYN department, each for two-year terms.

New and Innovative Treatment Options

Drs. Cesar Reyes, Renee Chan, Gerald Luciani, Sean Sadler, and Maria Reyes believe in providing the most minimally invasive approach to healthcare possible and strive to stay on the forefront of medical advancements. Comprehensive OB/GYN was the first practice in our area to have all physicians trained, certified, and performing robotic laparoscopic surgery. In 2014, they were once again the first practice to implement the MonaLisa Touch, a laser used to treat vaginal atrophy (see side bar). More recently, the physicians began offering bioidentical hormone replacement therapy with the Pro-Pell Therapy Program. The Comprehensive OB/GYN team is committed to providing today’s progressive woman with state-of-the-art care in a compassionate and artful setting.

Top-Notch Facility

A good thing just got better as Comprehensive OB/GYN recently moved into their new facility at 1700 North Lake Forest Drive. Every inch of this 11,000 square-foot building was designed with women’s health in mind. With triple the space of their former office, there are additional treatment and ultrasound rooms, additional appointment times, a designated waiting area for moms with newborns complete with nursing chairs and changing tables, and little extras such as automatic sliding doors to accommodate moms with strollers and full hands.

Designated Delivery Partner

With many OB/GYNs you don’t know who’ll delivery your baby until you show up at the hospital, whereas the doctors at Comprehensive OB/GYN deliver the majority of their own patients’ babies. Once you choose the physician you want to partner with during this exciting time, you’ll continue your care with that physician throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum follow-up. It’s as important to your physician as it is to you. Comprehensive OB/GYN looks forward to adding your baby’s picture to their “baby wall,” the showcase of the pride and joy they have in each and every one of their deliveries, bringing to life their philosophy “When it comes to women’s health, we deliver!”

Comprehensive and Personalized Care

What does comprehensive care really mean? At Comprehensive OB/GYN it means taking a unique care approach when caring for every patient from teens preparing for womanhood to the post-menopausal woman and every stage in between. This team of physicians prides itself in fostering relationships with their patients and tailoring their care individually. Through proactive wellness care and screenings for early detection, they empower each woman to maintain her desired level of wellness no matter her age or stage in life.

In-House Technology

Comprehensive OB/GYN is proud to offer in-office sonograms, including 3D/4D HDLIVE. With this state-of-the-art technology, they’re able to witness and capture precious 3D still photos and even 4D live motions of their patients’ babies. It’s a wonderful opportunity for you, your family, and your friends to see your baby before they make their grand appearance. There’s even a keepsake package so you can remember your baby’s early movements such as yawning, sucking their thumb, or even a smile.

Open Communication

The patient portal allows the Comprehensive OB/GYN team to relay information to patients in a way that is convenient. When appointments or calls to the office aren’t always necessary, patients will find many options such as reviewing, printing, and even sharing your medical records, sending and receiving messages to and from the office—including to your doctor—and updating or adding personal information. The Comprehensive OB/GYN physicians and staff understand the importance of communication and educating patients regarding all aspects of their care.

MonaLisa Touch for Vaginal Rejuvenation

Many women are already experiencing or may experience symptoms such as dryness, itching, burning, painful urination, and painful intercourse. It’s most commonly seen in post-menopausal women, breast cancer survivors, and women who’ve had a hysterectomy. Comprehensive OB/GYN was one of the first medical offices in our area to offer the in-office treatment with the FDA approved MonaLisa Touch.

MonaLisa Touch is a special CO2 fractional laser specifically created for the treatment of vaginal atrophy. The laser stimulation of collagen improves the condition of the tissue by promoting rehydration, elasticity, and overall functional recovery. Most patients will notice improvement almost immediately, however the full benefits are achieved after the recommended three sessions over three months.

Having a non-hormonal option that’s applied directly at the source is beneficial in many ways. There are no contraindications with other treatments or medications, no potential to create a negative side effect, and there are no routine medications. It’s anticipated that most patients will need an annual treatment to maintain the improvement in their quality of life and improved intimacy.
