Recognized for outstanding work in communications, branding, and school public relations by the Texas School Public Relations Association as part of their annual awards program, the Katy Independent School District competed against 1,460 entries from other districts to take home 13 Star Awards and one “Best of Category” award. “Our team’s number one priority is to keep parents, students, and community members connected and informed,” said Chief Communications Officer Dr. Andrea Grooms.
