Colleyville Dentistry

Gentle, Friendly, Cosmetic Family Dentistry

For Northeast Tarrant County residents there’s no need to travel long distances for superior dental care.

For the past ten years, Colleyville Dentistry has paired a passion for excellent service with the latest technological advances. Dale Belnap, DDS, provides a broad range of services like Empress® crowns, braces and Invisalign®, and low exposure panoramic and digital X-rays for superior diagnostic capability and patient safety. For anxious patients, the doctor also provides sedation dentistry.

Dr. Belnap’s practice boasts a long list of clients who actually enjoy coming to the dentist. “For a patient, dental treatment is often very stressful to one degree or another,” the dentist shared. “Our goal is to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, one-on-one attention, and on-time patient care designed to fit your needs.”

A Reputation Built on Trust and Respect

Dr. Belnap grew up in Arizona and graduated with his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, but ultimately it was the growth and development of the Fort Worth area that impressed him and his wife, Courteney, enough to make them call the Lone Star State their permanent home.

The doctor is strongly committed to promoting oral health, fighting oral cancer, and serving the communities he, and his family of seven, live and work in through charitable work. “I love being involved with the schools, and especially in the football community as a coach and a mentor. It means a lot to me to be able to provide a service to my neighbors that will exceed their expectations.”

The reputation of Colleyville Dentistry has been built on the trust and respect of his patients, and Dr. Belnap has always had a friendly, well-educated, and long-tenured staff ready to help patients with all their needs. “What you can expect as a patient at our practice is kindness, exceptional service, and professionalism from every single member of my team,” he shared. “We are generally conservative when it comes to treatment recommendations, and we will always value your time and resources. In addition, we never want to make someone feel embarrassed, whatever their situation may be. We focus on building relationships with our patients—we will do the right thing for you.”

My first experience with Dr. Belnap was with a dental emergency. I had a tooth that was hurting so badly I couldn’t stand it! I suspected the problem was related to treatment from the “trendy” dental office I’d been using. Dr. Belnap’s office got me in right away, made treatment suggestions, and I’ve been a patient since. I like him and his staff so well, I now use him as my son’s dentist, too! – Shelby N.

Gentle Aesthetic, Restorative and Preventative Care

As a medical professional, Dr. Belnap truly believes that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. “We strive to provide ‘dental health care’ versus ‘disease care.’ We focus on thorough exams—checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking X-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.”

As a dental professional, Dr. Belnap stays current on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for his patients. “We attend dental lectures and conventions to stay informed of the latest products, techniques, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state-of-the-art dental care. Also, being members of various professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession.”

Recently, the dentist has further pursued treatment options for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorder. “Every aspect of my approach is of a preventative nature and this naturally extends to joint disorders and sleep apnea as well. While these disorders are fairly easy to recognize, they’re not always easy to treat. Left untreated, TMJ can progress to a point of irreparable repair and sleep apnea can contribute to fatigue, memory problems, difficulty paying attention, and poor work performance.”

But perhaps the doctor’s favorite part of dentistry is creating beautiful smiles with orthodontics and first-class cosmetic dentistry. “We enjoy providing orthodontics for kids and adults, and our cosmetic results are just beautiful.”

Share Your Smile with Colleyville Dentistry

“Building a foundation of trust by treating our patients as special individuals is vital to our success,” shared Dr. Belnap. “As dental professionals, we’re changing lives one smile at a time, and we plan to do it together with you for a long time to come. I invite you to make an appointment today—we’ll give you a reason to smile!”
