Esteban Garza, DDS, FAGD Amanda L. Garza, DDS

Esteban G. Garza, DDS and Amanda L. Garza, DDS, general dentistry practitioners, are the owners of Champions Dental. They proudly serve the Spring, Cypress, and Tomball areas. With a focus on individualized patient care, Champions Dental has been providing general dentistry to the community for 19 years. Dr. Esteban Garza performs root canals, gum surgeries, implants, dentures, wisdom teeth extractions, and cosmetic dentistry. IV sedation and complicated wisdom teeth extractions, sinus lifts, and bone augmentations are performed by his brother, Dr. Rudy Garza, DDS, MD, an oral surgeon.

“It is a family affair at Champions Dental. You are going to see family and we are going to treat you like one. Our desire is to grow old with our patients. We focus on preventative dentistry. I tell our patients all the time, the last thing I want to do is drill on your tooth. I can help restore your teeth back to function when you have cavities, but I am going to educate you and give you the tools to help prevent that from happening.”

Dr. Garza completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University (class of 2003) after graduating from Cy-Fair High School. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Amanda Garza graduated from UTSA and Baylor College of Dentistry. The couple met in dental school and both pursued one year residencies after dental school (General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City, Ok and Advanced Education General Dentistry in Dallas, Texas).

Champions Dental’s experience is second to none. Our office is warm and inviting, feels comfortable and pleasant. It is of utmost importance that the use of exceptional materials are used and that they exceed the American Dental Association and OSHA standards for a clean and safe practice.

Champions Dental is digitally equipped and have a start of the art Cone Beam CT for wisdom teeth, root canals, oral pathology, and implant procedures. Dr. Garza has a beautiful studio room for smile makeovers and full mouth rehabilitations. KOR whitening is offered for whitening options.

“One of the most common issues patients have is their gag reflex pertaining to impression material going in their mouth. We have eliminated that step by having a state of the art digital scanner. We use digital imaging technology to send digital impressions to the lab for crowns, nightguards, bleaching trays, and ortho.”

Champions Dental’s foundation is built on trust and solid relationships. Dr. Garza makes every patient feel valued and comfortable. He strives for excellence and will be awarded the prestigious Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in July of 2020. He has taken over 1500 hours of continuing education and has passed a written exam to achieve the award.

Dr. Garza has enjoyed serving his community through several charitable organizations, and for the past 14 years, Dr. Garza has traveled the globe to offer his time and services for dental missions. He has volunteered his services in Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, and most recently in 2019, Tres Pontas, Brazil. Locally he likes to donate his time for Veteran’s Day through the Greater Houston Dental Society.

The Garza’s have two girls and one boy. When time permits, Dr. Garza is at Orange Theory at the Vintage and loves to play tennis.

He is proud to hold memberships in the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Garza looks forward to welcoming new patients and serving their dental needs in his conveniently-located office.
