Feel and Look Your Best with Whole Body Healthcare

Why is whole-body healthcare important?

Our body and its systems work together in unison like an orchestra. If one part is not functioning well, it can throw everything off. This is why I focus on preventive care and helping patients maintain overall optimal health and wellness. When a problem arises, we strive to treat the cause, not just the symptoms, taking a whole body, whole health approach.

How do you decide what weight loss program is best for a patient, and how do you customize weight loss solutions?

It often depends on the amount of weight you want to lose and what will work for you. We look at your weight loss goals and medical history, then review options to determine which one is best for you.

For many, an HCG diet will successfully jumpstart a lifestyle change. A Keto diet may be the best choice for others. I also prescribe clinical-grade supplements and may prescribe appetite suppressants in conjunction with a plan. Sometimes other medications are required. For example, women with a hormonal condition called PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and insulin-resistance may need medication to address these conditions along with a weight loss plan.

Should I consider hormone replacement therapy?

The symptoms of hormonal depletion can be profoundly life-altering. For women, they include weight gain, vaginal dryness, fatigue, brain fog, and hot flashes, to name a few. Over time, hormonal depletion may be linked to osteoporosis, an increased risk of heart disease, and more.

We start with a blood test to assess hormone levels and get a baseline. I also look at possible underlying medical conditions that may be causing symptoms.
If hormone imbalance is a cause, we review options such as bioidentical hormone pellets, and the advantages and disadvantages of each option. With this, patients can make an informed decision.

Come see us if you have symptoms of hormonal imbalance rather than trying to suffer through unrelenting symptoms.

Who is a good candidate for hormone replacement therapy?

Generally speaking, menopausal women should consider it. Men should look into hormone replacement therapy when they first start becoming symptomatic, including low libido, loss of muscle mass, and lack of energy and stamina.

Why are aesthetic services integral to whole-body health?

Health, wellness, and looking good play together. How you look and feel about yourself affects your psyche, which, in turn, can affect your overall health. A good approach to aesthetic services is to do a little here and there and start earlier rather than later. This way, you can maintain a natural and eternally youthful and healthy appearance as you age.

What are you doing for COVID-19?

We follow all state-mandated safety guidelines and offer antibody testing. If you have COVID-19 antibodies, you can donate plasma to help other victims of the virus. I also help patients boost their immune system. Healthy eating, stress management, and exercise are important, and we offer “Myer’s Cocktail” injections intramuscularly. These injections are packed with many vitamins and minerals to help support and boost the immune system. I also prescribe clinical-grade supplements. I recommend two Metagenics products, Mycotaki and Immune Active. Immune Active, by the way, was specifically formulated due to the COVID-19 virus.
