Brad Moss DDS, PLC
We’re living through unique times and it’s affected everyone in many ways. For the dental practice of Dr. Brad Moss, it has forced them to slow down and add steps outside their normal routine. Patients visiting now are greeted at their car by a team member wearing a mask who takes their temperature and screening history before they enter the building. “Our priority is everyone’s safety,” Dr. Moss said. “Since reopening in mid-May, we’ve had many patients express their gratitude for how safe we’ve helped them feel during their visit. And we’ll continue to act dynamically as the Coronavirus situation evolves, in accordance with CDC and American Dental Association guidelines.”
Dr. Moss’ proficiency with detailed handwork, his inherited love of caregiving, and his lifelong passion for learning have served him well in his nearly 30-year dental career. Practicing in the heart of Southlake, Dr. Moss provides a full menu of dental services in a safe and nurturing environment. He works with a talented, supportive patient care team to serve an ever-growing patient base that often includes three to four generations of families.
Preventive care is the foundation of the practice. “By being our patients’ dental advocate and educating them on the conditions of their mouth, we can be more proactive, helping preserve natural, healthy teeth for a lifetime,” Dr. Moss said.
In these uncertain times, we’re all keenly aware of the importance of a strong immune system. Inflammation anywhere in our bodies can lower our ability to fight viral and bacterial infections, and gum inflammation is one of the most common culprits. Current research continues to link gum infections with increased risk of cardiac disease, strokes, and overall systemic health problems. Dr. Moss feels getting back on schedule with your routine dental visits is the right decision.
“Patients who need the most help are the ones who’ve stayed away from visiting the dentist for one reason or another,” Dr. Moss said.
“You’re not alone. Our goal is to get you as healthy as possible, beginning with your oral health.”
Dr. Moss believes the ability to be engaged and truly listen to his patients is one of the most important attributes of a healthcare provider. He and his team employ the latest dental technology while emphasizing the human element, in an environment where the patient always comes first and time with the dentist doesn’t begin and end with dentistry.
Dr. Moss and his wife, Polly, a registered nurse, make frequent medical mission trips to remote villages in Guatemala and hope to return next year when it’s safe. The Moss’ married children, Jacob, Maggie, and Elly, have also pursued healthcare careers, working as a clinical lab scientist, registered nurse, and physician assistant. The Moss’ proudly announce the safe
delivery of their second granddaughter on June 8th.
