Despite Heather Tindell’s official title as founder and spa director of Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center (BHRC) Dallas, her work can best be described as “confidence creator.” Every day, she helps women and men see they’re beautiful in their own skin.

“Most of our clients have struggled with the aging process, had a stressful life event that has expedited the process, or just want preventive care,” explained Tindell. “We can help them feel better through hormone therapy or a med spa treatment. Helping people feel and look good while they’re going through something major is so rewarding.”

BHRC Dallas is an award-winning bioidentical hormone therapy and medical spa led by a board-certified physician and practitioners certified and licensed in anti-aging and wellness. After opening in 2013, BHRC Dallas quickly became one of DFW’s top destinations for transformational health and beauty services. It’s now operating six locations throughout the metroplex. Tindell’s compassionate heart and willingness to take a risk made it all possible.

Previously, Tindell had a successful career in film, television, modeling, and sports broadcasting. “I liked what I did, but I especially enjoyed it behind-the-scenes — the preparation, guiding people to make them feel good and look good for their roles,” Tindell said. “I was also interested in the medical field, so opening BHRC Dallas brought my two passions together.”

Tindell started working with Garth Fisher, MD, FACS, one of the country’s top plastic surgeons based in Beverly Hills, California. “Dr. Fisher took me under his wing, and I discovered I liked the aesthetic aspect,” said Tindell. “You can achieve amazing results without going under the knife. I got to see firsthand what this work could do, and it changed people’s lives when they looked and felt better!”

Afterward, she worked for Gary Motykie, MD, FACS, another top plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. “He didn’t have a med spa, so I tied in a med spa to complement his surgery side,” said Tindell. “If he’s doing a face lift, I would tie in laser resurfacing. I grew his practice — doubling it within a few months.”

Afterward, she was recruited by Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center to come in and develop their med spa. She helped them become “completely profitable and doing amazing by month three.”

It was here that she met her BHRC Dallas partner, who was in Los Angeles with his wife for aesthetics treatments and hormone replacement therapy. He saw Tindell’s work, loved the concept, and offered to invest.

“It took me about a year to say yes,” remembers Tindell. “There were some changes I had to make, fine-tuning, and getting more certifications and skillsets. Then, we licensed the BHRC name, and I own all the locations here.” Tindell is educator-certified in advanced injectable and laser treatments and trains all her staff. She works with James Kadi, MD, board-certified plastic surgeon and BHRC Dallas’ medical director, to provide expert care to patients.

Dr. Kadi is a cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery specialist with over 32 years’ experience. He graduated from LSU School of Medicine – New Orleans in 1989 and is affiliated with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound. He oversees all the services provided by BHRC Dallas.

One of Tindell’s favorite parts of her job is “helping women feel good as we’re aging.” She loves helping people take care of themselves internally through preventive procedures that “help you age gracefully.”

Tindell recommends bioidentical hormone therapy, which can help restore hormones to optimal levels with natural, plant-based bioidentical hormones. Hormone deficiencies can lead to weight gain, wrinkles, muscle loss, moodiness, mental fogginess, low libido, low energy, and other issues, so BHRC Dallas will work with patients to determine a treatment protocol “to help your hormones get back on track and get you feeling like yourself again.”

IV infusions are another favorite of Tindell’s, which she does weekly with an anti-aging and Glutathione push. “This is a major antioxidant that is preventive of diseases and illnesses.” This can lead to brighter skin and less dark spots, as well as boost the immune system, attack damaging free radicals, prevent and sometimes reverse cell damage, and encourage healthy brain function.

For external treatments, Tindell’s go-tos are laser resurfacing and Ultherapy. Laser 360 uses four revolutionary technologies “to create brighter, younger, and healthier skin,” according to Tindell. BHRC Dallas also offers IPL photofacial treatments, which use a low-energy, short-pulse broadband light to treat brown spots and broken capillaries. Most procedures can be done during a lunch hour. Ultherapy is a nonsurgical lifting procedure, which is “the only non-invasive procedure that’s approved by the FDA to lift the skin of the neck, chin, and brow,” according to Tindell. It uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen deep within the skin without downtime, which can create tighter skin.

In the future, Tindell hopes to take BHRC Dallas internationally to help even more people. And, although BRHC Dallas already helps the community by hosting clothing and food drives, helping the Children’s Advocacy Center in Flower Mound, and supporting the Union Gospel Mission in Fort Worth, Tindell hopes to develop a mission or foundation through the business to “give back on a bigger scope.”

“People didn’t want me to do well or succeed,” said Tindell. “I stayed the course, stayed strong, and worked hard. If you ever feel like you’re being challenged, look at it as a way to grow and become stronger and get what you want. Because now I can sit back, and people know what I’ve done. I made the right decisions and treated people well along the way. Now, I make sure to keep a nice environment at BHRC Dallas. We all work together in a respectful, kind, and helpful way. You can’t go wrong with that approach!”
