Area Senior Wins Google Science Fair

Benjamin Li, a senior at Plano West Senior High School who says his “favorite wavelength is 600nm,” is the Texas state winner in the Google Science Fair, joining an elite group of 44 U.S. state and territory winner who will advance to the regional competition this month. His project, Rose Petals for Enhanced Solar Cells, uses the concept of applying nanostructures from roses to solar cells.
